PLANNING YOUR VISIT

 

The Military Museum of Texas is a Military Historic Landmark located in heart of Houston! The museum is open to the public two days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and is handicap accessible. Special tours may be arranged. 

When planning your visit, please allow at least one and a half to two hours to tour the museum. Individuals or groups who have a strong passion for military, military automotive history, American military history, veteran should allow more time to enjoy the museum and its galleries. Most tours are guided. Stop in or call us to schedule a personal tour today.

Photography is encouraged and is allowed.

Groups

Groups enjoy front-of-the-line service upon arrival at the Military Museum of Texas and discounted rates. A minimum of 15 is required for a group reservation. Reservations must be made two weeks in advance.

A $50 deposit is due at the time of reservation. The deposit is refundable or transferable to another date with 48-hours notice of cancellation. Full payment is due upon arrival in one transaction.

Hints for Family

  • Pets (other than service animals) are not permitted in the museum
  • The museum is a smoke-free facility
  • Wheelchairs accessable facility

Group Rates

  • Military Personel w/ I.D. - Free
  • Children 11 and under: $4.00
  • Children 12 to adult: $6.00
  • Seniors: $6.00

Educational Group Rates

Educational group rates are available to schools, home schools, and daycares. Call our curator at (713) 673-1234 (Saturday–Sunday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST) for more information.
